Director of Engineering
Dimuthu is an engineer specializing in building highly scalable distributed systems for mission-critical applications. He strengthens Folia’s software stack and applies next-generation solutions that help Folia lead the innovative digital annotation landscape.
Dimuthu’s impact and expertise go beyond Folia as the Senior Research Software Architect at the Georgia Tech Center for Artificial Intelligence in Science and Engineering (ARTISAN) and through his involvement with the Apache Software Foundation and Apache Airavata Project.
As a deeply engaged member of the open-source community, his contributions to these projects have been instrumental in advancing the capabilities of distributed computing and computational science.
Dimuthu holds an M.S. in Intelligent Systems Engineering from Indiana University and an M.S. in Strategic Management from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dimuthu is an avid sports enthusiast who is particularly passionate about badminton and cricket.
